The Flea
The
Flea is black to brownish-black in color and is about 1/12 to 1/16 inch
long with six legs and bristles on its legs and body. Found on cats and
dogs year-round, but most commonly in the warm season. They will also
feed on humans. They can jump 14 to 16 inches horizontally. Their diet
is blood. They can live one to two months without feeding. They can carry
many diseases.
